Remember me? Yeah, still trying to remember to breathe

Have no fear, The King returned our cable box yesterday. Phew.

One thing down, six billion more to do.

The King also took the cat to the vet this morning for his grooming appointment. (While you may be thinking to yourself that The King seems to be the one doing all the actual tasks this week, be assured that I’m the one that gave the cat his sedative this morning. In pill form. So hey, I’m doing my part.) (I’ll also be taking myself to the salon for a hair cut. All by myself. I don’t need The King for that task.)

So while I’m super-duper busy this week (and also trying to find time to read “Twilight”, dude!), I wasn’t too busy to write a guest post for the lovely Heidikins. Please head over there to read all about how I’m either a gay man or a 12 year old girl. Both of which are awesome.

I also an asking your thoughts on doing personal tasks while on the clock over at SeattleMomBlogs. Seriously, I want to know what you all think about this subject. So head over and leave a comment. Don’t worry, your boss won’t read it.

And here, for the heck of it, is a very Seattle-esqu picture of how I spent last Friday evening.

Yep, that’s Jenni, Janet and me. And dude, it took us hours to find a Starbucks to pose outside of. (And by hours I mean I shouted “oh yeah, there’s one right there!” mere seconds after Janet had the idea to find a Starbucks for our picture.)

When you said “hours to find a Starbucks” I wondered if you weren’t in the middle of Oklahoma. Because dude, there are two within spitting distance of my office. Come visit me!!

Is Twilight a series about vampires? If it is, my mom loves it. I think she gave me a few of the books. I should dig them out sometime.

I started New Moon last night. Figured I had to read them since the movies are coming out soon. I just finished Stephenie Meyer’s “grown-up” book The Host. I enjoyed it. It was like a million pages long but I finished it in about a week.

Have fun going going to see my boyfriend Rhett…I have to wait until July!

Oh Isabel! You have no idea how happy I am to hear you’re reading New Moon. A warning though, New Moon has some parts that may make you get angry and want to stop reading, but DON’T! You have to keep going because Eclipse is the best ever! And Edward is amazing. He’s my future husband… he just doesn’t know it yet.

If you ever want to talk Twilight, you know I’m here! :)

    You guys look lovely.

I made a purse out of a placemat last night. I took pictures this morning but haven’t documented it yet. I LOVE it though. It’s so cute!! Thanks so much for posting your craftiness. Did I mention that I also made those magnets for my Mom for mother’s day? Very cool and so easy.

You are a busy girl — all of this moving and writing and picture posing! How cool.

Oh I think I’ve been to that Starbucks you all are hanging out in front of! Years ago when hubby and I went to Seattle for a few days we did a lot of walking at night. (Our fave thing to do when in a diff city.) And during the day while he was working (He designed the system architecture for a few roasting plants for Starbucks. That’s why we were in Seattle.) I did alot of walking around the city too. There’s such a great, energetic vibe to your city. And a Starbucks on every corner is a good thing too! heehee. But that particular Starbucks looks rilly familiar. Or really the sidewalk and surroundings do. Hmmm.

Hooray for Starbucks! I’m loving their Dulce de Leche right now, if I pretend that they have no calories it’s even better. YUM!
