Here’s the thing…September 1st, 2006 @ 7:21 am
Tomorrow we leave for LA. Early. Too early. What were we thinking when we booked our flight that early? I’m pretty sure we weren’t thinking. At least we aren’t going out of the country like my BBF HollowSquirrel. I wouldn’t even know how to begin packing for that. Good luck Mrs. Squirrel with trying to decided what your baby will need for an international flight. I do not envy you.
Since we will be gone for six days (six days!) and we will be too busy at the beach and shopping (and I don’t have any room to pack my laptop!) I will most likely not get the chance to post. That is a long time to not post. I even managed to while we were in Europe last winter. And I had to do that without our traveling companions catching wind of my very secret blog. Oh yes, I’m very sneaky.
I’m fearful of losing all of my loyal readers. It’s a real fear. I think they call it theywillfindoutiamadork-itious, or something like that. I promise, it’s a disease. And I’m afraid of it.
How can I keep you coming back for more? What can I leave you with that will force you to mark your calendar for the day of my arrival home?
I thought about leaving you with links to my favorite posts, like this one from Frema, which still cracks me up. Or this post which I had to open a separate window for the comments because I had so much to say. Or this post which just adds to my desire to be Mrs. Ari. There is always this post which can only help us all, or this post which has forever changed my beauty regiment. In a good way.
I know what will keep you coming back for more. To be fair it wasn’t my idea. I’m just following the likes of Frema, Erika, Janet, SillyHily and BethFish. (Who are all way more awesome than I could ever dream of being. Because yes, I’m a dork.)
So here’s the thing. You get to ask me questions. I know, it’s all very exciting. You have my entire vacation to think about what you want to ask and leave it in the comments. How great is that? (Okay, it isn’t that great. But it has the potential.) And unlike Frema, my family doesn’t read this, so ask away.
(But let’s stay away from the very heated questions about religion and politics. Because really, my point is to have you keep coming back and Hola, Isabel is nothing if not a lover of everybody!)

Here are my questions for you:
What was your favorite toy when you were a little kid?
What do you think Baboo will be when he grows up?
Have a great time in LA!

I will always keep coming back seeing as how yours is one of my favorite blogs on teh interweb.
And it’s a good thing I have 6 whole days to come up with some good questions, because I am drawing a total blank in the “what do I want to know about isabel” category right now.
I hope you have a fabulous trip!

Do you think Babboo will be upset that Mia is a little older than he is, or will he forget about it way before their wedding?

Oh son of a skunk, I forgot to ask a question because I’m totally wigging out.
QUESTION (said with Dwight Schrute Intensity): You have the afternoon free from work, Babboo is at daycare and The King is at work…what is your perfect way of spending those 5 hours? What will you really end up doing?
Sorry for the dumb question, but I’m running on empty. And using cliches! Yippeee.

Hola, Isabel, estas son mis preguntas.
1. What were your favorite elective classes (high school or college, I can’t remember if you went to college or not)
2. Seriously, Babboo’s hair-fountain- you have to at least gel that, right?
3. What is your favorite dinner?

What is your dream job?

Thanks for the props! Here is my question:
If Babboo had been a girl, what (real-life) name would you have gone with?

If you had to choose only one entertainment medium (TV, movies, books, plays, music, Podcasts, etc.) to have for the rest of your life, what would it be?

That’s why I think you are one cool chickie! You’re a lover!
Hope you have fun on your vacation! Mmmmm. Question….
Do you remember your first DQ Blizard? What kind was it? What did you think at the time? Did you ever try the “Breeze” (low-fat Blizards) And what is your favoritest Blizard flavor in the whole wide world?
(Ok. I had to ask. Cause I LOVE the Blizards and know you do too! Its too the point where when we go past DQ, I THINK OF YOU! heehee.)

Hi,
I left a comment and question but have no idea what happened to it. My question to you is “where were you the first time you ate a DQ Blizzard? What kind and was it love at first bite?” And when do you plan to introduce Baboo to the joys of a Blizzard?

Hmm… I know I’m a little late on this post, but I hope you guys had a great trip!
Let’s see…. I’m not so good at questions, and the one I really wanted to ask has already been taken and that was if you wanted to have more children and if so how many, and when do you expect you’ll have your next one?

Okay here is my very deep and probing question: What do you like/dislike the most about yourself? (Not necessarily a physical trait, but more like personality or something like that. Don’t be shy!
)

What is your all-time favorite dessert?
What is the one self-pampering thing (ie pedicures, facials, blizzards, etc) you would do every day if things like time, money, weight gain weren’t an issue?
What do you want to be when you grow up?

Just to clarify, I know that even though I am married, own a house, and have a career, I still don’t feel like a “grown up,” and I’m not sure I ever will, so I think the question still applies. And it’s more fun than just coming right out and saying “where do you want to be in 10 years?”

Don’t worry - you won’t lose any loyal readers just because you went on vacation! I hope you’re having a nice time, can’t wait to see pics when you return. Thanks for the link to my makeup post - I need to work on my layout again today to get it back to BIG so that my old posts aren’t all retarded-looking!
(I can’t think of a question, sorry!)

Ok, so I’m way late on this but you’re still not back so I can get my question in… Hmmm…
Ok, what quirks do you have? Everyone has them and I have about a million, i.e. I can’t stand to touch frosted glass. So, what’s weird about you?

Hola,
Tell us about your work: What is it that you do for a construction firm? Do you like working in a male dominated industry? Do you find that it sometimes pays to be a girl or is it totally the opposite?
Would you pose nude in a magazine for 10 million dollars?
Is there one thing that you regret doing and if you could would you go back and change it even if it altered the rest of your life, ala Butterfly Effect?
Enjoy your vaca!

I have another question:
How did you get your flickr badge in your sidebar? As you know, I am new to wordpress, and I can’t figure out how to edit my sidebar.

Ohh! I thought of a new question! It may have already been asked, but I wasn’t gonna read through them all to find out, lol.
When and why did you start blogging? Was it something you did just because or were you introduced by someone else? Just curious.

Aha! But by defition a “loyal” reader will never leave you, my dear. Wow. I am a dork. And you self-proclaimed yourself one! Which works out well for us, I think.
If you lived on a desert island and could only bring one album (a cd, if you will), only ONE, which would you take?

Wow, you’ve got some really, really good questions. I’ll let them have the deep ones and I’ll take the “slumber party with margaritas” ones.
Feel free to not answer any of these. It won’t hurt my feelings. But if I don’t ask, then I’m not giving you a chance to answer.
At what age did you cancel your membership in the “V club?”
How many hands and/or feet would you need to count your “number?”
Tell us about your first kiss.
Do you remember when you got your period for the first time? Or do you have any horrible period stories? (We all do.)
How do you feel about your body now that it has been through a pregnancy and delivery?
Have you lost all your pregnancy weight? If so, how? If not, how much more do you have to go?
How long do you plan to breastfeed Babboo?
I’ll stop there.
Much love and hope you had a fabulous trip.
