I had The King take this picture before I put a big sweater over my undershirt and headed off to the baby shower I co-hosted for a friend on Saturday. Now you tell me, how in the heck am I still hiding this big belly? I figure my friends just *have* to know but are being respectful and not saying anything. What do you think?
(The King isn’t too sure about the whole “posting belly pictures on the Internet” thing, so he didn’t want my face in the picture. He did take some with my face that I think I’ll e-mail to my siblings. That will be a fun way for them to find out about the pregnancy!)

I don’t know how you’re hiding it either, but your family is in for a great surprise! I love the idea of sending them belly pictures to tell them about the pregnancy!

What a sweet belly. Your friends must know! Why haven’t you told them yet? I broke down at about 5 weeks simply because people kept asking me why I was so pale. I agree — sending the pictures is a good idea!

They may know - but no one wants to be the one to ask “Are you pregnant?” and have the answer be “No, why did you think that?” “Um… your belly looks fat?”
